Solar Supplement
A solar system can only provide a maximum of about 30% – 40% of the total energy required by any central heating system. Therefore the solar system is the supplement and NOT the primary energy source. Therefore solar must be added onto one of the other 3 primary energy systems above. Namely: Liquid fuel, gas or heat pump above.
